We're getting into the darker side of the Coalition now (because a genocidal empire that wants the Mobians extinct wasn't dark enough, right?). Here we have the Headhunter.
Remember that one promotion that certain skilled Flunkies can obtain? This is it. If a Flunky shows military prowess, he will be recalled from service and given further military training, as well as bio-mechanical and mental enhancements to increase his strength, intelligence and ferocity. The result barely resembles the bee it was before the procedures began; so like we said, most Flunkies would rather not receive this "promotion."
Headhunters are far larger than Flunkies. Despite their increased size and weight, they are faster and more maneuverable than their fellows. Mechanical arms have been installed, giving the creature a much more insect-like design. Their feet have been modified to include opposable toes, allowing the Headhunter to hold up to six weapons simultaneously.
These monsters can be vicious in hand-to-hand combat, easily able to maul their opponents, but typically they are deployed as sniper units. This is because the authorities who build them place great value on them, and after all the effort that goes into making just one, they wish to do all they can to preserve them. For the same reason, Headhunters usually have their own retinue of infantrymen to assist in case the situation escalates beyond control; while Headhunters are rarely seen working together, no Headhunter will ever be seen totally alone.
Like the Flunky, this Headhunter serves the Overlord of Apathy. It's worth noting that most Overlords consider the invasive surgeries necessary to build a Headhunter unethical: as such only the most ruthless of Overlords, like Apathy, will create them.
